Have you ever attended a 90-Day OA meeting? Listened to recovering OA members share in a meeting focused on health issues? Attended a meeting in Australia?
Your Intergroup challenges you to attend 10 OA meetings with a topic or focus unlike any you have ever encountered.
There are three categories of meetings from which to choose. You can choose to attend all 10 in the same category or mix and match. Those who complete attending 10 different meetings by Unity Day, February 28, 2021 will win a copy of the newest OA pamphlet “A Lifetime of Abstinence,” courtesy of CVIG!

As long as you meet the Third Tradition, you can attend any OA meeting, but please be respectful. We suggest you be mindful of the special focus or topic and share only if you qualify for that special topic or focus. For example, please don’t share at a men’s meeting if you identify as female or ask to talk about Step 2 at an 11th Step meeting unless, of course, invited to do so.
To find these categories, go to oa.org and click on “Find A Meeting.” Then, choose “face-to-face” “online” “telephone” or “non-real-time.”
For Regional meetings, choose a location, such as “All Other Countries” then choose a specific country.
For a special focus or topic meeting, skip choosing a location and go past “Search radius” and click “Additional Search Options.” Click on either “Special Topic” or “Special Focus” and make other choices as appropriate.
It may take you several tries to learn how to use the system and you may find, for example, that there is no “Ask-It-Basket” meeting on Tuesdays but keep trying!
Please email CVIG at WeRCVIG@gmail.com when you have finished the challenge with your name and mailing address and describe which meetings you attended and what you learned. We would like to share your challenge results in our newsletter (without your name of course) if you give us permission. Many of us would like to know what you found out so that we might try those meetings too!
We hope you enjoy our “Spread Your Wings” Challenge. Happy hunting and please give our regards to those meetings!
